Our Academy is located in the best place a Pilot´s School could be located, right besides the Control Tower at the Pitt Meadows airport. Pitt Meadows is located just 25 miles south east of the city of Vancouver in British Columbia, is worldwide know as one of the Fraser Valley´s most beautiful and one of the fastest growing cities after the Golden Ears bridge was put in service connecting this community with the rest of the Greater Vancouver area. Most of the pilots flying from this airport agree that weather conditions are usually fair ti great making every landing and take off more fun. Our practice area is just five minutes form here not to mention the astonishing landscape we count with making the flying experience a unique and enjoyable one.
Flight School Location and Offices.
In our offices, students will be able to use for their training the following facilities;
a classroom for land instruction,
a flight plan and self study area,
a room with a flight simulator,
reception area,
Instructor´s room,
a lounge area with audio-visual aids and
Administrate office.
Fleet of Aircrafts (Ready to Fly)
Our aircrafts are just outside our offices. We can park three of the most used aircrafts just outside or offices and the rest of them just steps away. Fleet of aircrafts at our quick disposal are Cessna 172, Cessna 172 RG (Retractable Gear and variable prop pitch), Piper Seminole Twin, 2 Cessna 152's and 3 Cessna 150's.
Food - Shopping - Entertainment
Airport´s main terminal with a mid-budget restaurant is located right besides our Academy. We keep an enough supply of snacks, beverage and coffee for those students who missed lunch for practice or studying purposes. There are however, just minutes away five additional eating places or if preferred, anyone could enjoy multicultural restaurants nearby. Ah! of course, pizza delivery to the school is always available. Pitt Meadows boast very good shopping centers where designer stuff can be found. Food, clothing, appliances, electronics or almost anything could be found just minutes away. Relaxation and Entertainment help to maintain a mental and body balance for those students working hard. Just minutes away from our school there are a variety of gyms, Spas and meeting places where the student can enjoy the easiness of making local and international friends.
The Community
Fraser Valley´s population is a diverse mix of worldwide migrants who live together in total harmony. Employment for youngsters. There is a constant lack of juvenal qualified labor wanting to work in this geographical area. For most of the jobs experience is not required and sometimes not even a good command of the language. The Fraser Valley is a very important farming community known as "Canada´s Berry Capital" .Our staff is trained to guide those seeking a temp job with proper permit which allows them to make an extra income to be spent on entertainment and recreation. Foreigner students could be asked a working visa issued by Immigration Canada Students seeking a working visa can visit Immigration and Labor offices which are located just minutes away from our Academy in order to get appropriate and legal information.
